While liquor stores and ice cream stands are open, fitness studios are closed. These are strange, unprecedented times.
Today, the situation demands that your plan must adapt to your new surroundings. We are here to help you do that.

We’ve worked with stroke patients, spinal chord injury patients, amputees, and people who cannot see or hear.
Our world is changing right now in so many ways. That is difficult for all of us.
But changing your fitness plan to adapt to your home environment instead of a well-equipped gym or studio…That’s no problem for us. We’ve been doing that for years so we can help you here.
I’ve been delivering online training for clients for years. My national travel has provided me with several clients from Washington State to New York city. They do a 1 hour videoconference with me monthly, and weekly email check-ins with feedback. They are paying $300/month for that individualized attention and are thrilled with the results.
Nick and I have already delivered over a dozen coaching calls last week via videoconferencing with clients in their home.
So we have a proven, well developed plan in place to provide you with valuable effective fitness coaching for you in response to not being able to see you in the studio.
Challenging times demands that we step up and deliver. The entire Team is poised to over deliver valuable services to you.
Here’s exactly how we are going to do this for you.
You will still get personalized instruction, except now you will get more personalized instruction. Here’s what that means:
- All Small group clients will now receive 1:1 training via videoconferencing
- 1:1 Clients will continue to receive 1:1 training via videoconferencing
- All clients will receive unlimited weekly email feedback.
- All clients will continue to receive coaching, support, accountability from myself, the entire team, and the entire Spectrum Client community
Here’s what online fitness Coaching the Spectrum Way looks like.
First, here’s the only technology you will need:
- Phone: for calling, emailing, taking pictures, or video calls
- Computer, for video calls, emails
- Zoom: free, simple, and a great video conference tool
- Bonus… Lose it! and/or My Fitness Pal food tracking app

Here’s an example of an Email Feedback session, including exercise review, food long review, and body composition reassessment (yes, we can do that remotely too!):
As you can see, there is a lot we can do remotely to redesign your program, assess your technique, track your food log and exercise logs, hold you accountable, and give you the coaching and support you need to make sure you are keeping your health and fitness a priority during these challenging times.
So let’s get into the specifics:
If you are a small group 2x/week client: You will now receive a 30 minute Video Conference each week with weekly email check-ins and feedback. That amounts to over 2 hours of individual real time instruction and up to an additional 2 hours a month in personalized email/recorded video feedback. This is double what is offered to my distance online training clients. Billing will remain the same for these online services.
Your Trainer will contact you soon to schedule your session, which will likely be near the time of your group session: i.e. if you normally do Tuesday and Thursday 9am, then your call will likely be scheduled at 9 or 9:30 on Tuesday or Thursday. Billing will remain the same for these online services.
If you are a small group 3x/week client: You will now receive a 1 hour Video Conference with weekly email check-ins and feedback. That amounts to over 3 hours of individual real time instruction and up to an additional 2 hours a month in personalized email/recorded video feedback. Again, this is more than double what is offered to my distance online training clients. Billing will remain the same for these online services.
Your Trainer will contact you soon to schedule your session, which will likely be near the time of your group session: i.e. if you normally do Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9am, then your call will likely be scheduled at 9 or 9:30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Billing will remain the same for these online services.
For our 1:1 training clients: Your sessions will be converted to video conferencing sessions. In addition, you will receive weekly personalized email/recorded video feedback. There are no schedule changes. The times of your studio appointment is the same as the time of your videoconferencing appointment. Billing will remain the same for these online services.
