Hi! My name is Miles, and I am one of the Personal Trainers at Spectrum. My Fitness journey began when I was in the U.S Army, preparing my Soldiers for not only the Army Physical Fitness Test but also for our deployment to Iraq. At times, when my Men didn’t think they could muster one more pushup or get across that finish line after 2 miles, it was up to me to remind them that they can and they WILL and at only 19 years old, I knew it was my goal to become a Fitness Professional and so began my journey to study and achieve the goals I had set for myself.
Once my time in the military ended, I became a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and graduated from the National Personal Training Institute, American Academy of Personal Training as well as the Academy of Sports and Fitness Training. I’ve had many injuries over the years ranging from shoulder tears, knee ruptures and even a brain injury from the war in Iraq so specializing in post-injury/corrective exercise and helping my clients’ move, look and most importantly feel better is my favorite part of what I do. Once I finished my education in Boston, I decided to take my love for remastering human movement by also attending Lincoln Technical Institute for Massage Therapy. It is my goal to take my 10+ years in this field and empower each one of our members to become the happiest and strongest version of themselves.
I’m a proud fitness nerd and as much as I love this industry, my entire world is and will always be, my four children. Adrianna (18), Aiden (14), Sophia (5) and Vanessa (2). Living in Gloucester, we enjoy relaxing along the ocean and especially love to Chef it up at home. My Personal goal is to compete in Men’s physique competitions in 2025.
