After having my annual Medicare wellness exam and the doctor recommended blood tests at the end of August, the results of my prescribed blood tests arrived. All tests, thankfully, were within the normal range. And, just as significant, my doctor’s recommendation was simply, “Keep on doing what you are doing.” Obviously, I’m delighted, at nearly 72 years of age, by this news, and I wanted to pass it on.
This was not the case before I began workouts several years ago and attending the BBC (Body Balance Challenge) program. Previously, I was on blood pressure medication, too — not the case now.
I’m prey, as lots of us may be, to procrastination, rationalizing, and to the lure of fast and comfort foods. However, the benefit of a strict workout schedule and the comprehensive nutritional recommendations of the BBC, have been invaluable. There is certainly more I can accomplish, but I’m quite sure the results of the exam and tests would have been markedly different had I not been attending Spectrum. Consequently, I’m quite sure I can say, “Spectrum Works!”
