STEP 1: The Initial Consultation:
I firmly believe that the best way to enter a coaching relationship is to meet face to face. It’s vital to get a good feel for who someone is and what they are about. That’s why doing a one hour one to one coaching session at the studio is the best way to get started.
At your initial consultation, you’ll enter the waiting room that we share with our sister business, Orthopaedics Plus physical therapy. After you check in at the desk, myself, Dave, or Andrew will come out to greet you. We’ll show you around the facility, then sit in our consultation room. No need to change into exercise apparel at this point, just come as you are. You will have the chance to tell us your story, let us know about your goals, what you’ve done in the past, and your successes, challenges, and failures. We’ll ask questions to help reveal critical information that helps determine what limitations and obstacles you face. We’ll ask about injuries or medical issues. And we’ll help determine if you are a good fit for coaching.
Most importantly, you’ll get the chance to have your questions and concerns answered. We want you to have the chance to learn more about us so you feel 100% comfortable with us. This is critical to making sure you get the results you want. You’ll get a better view of what type of clients we work with, and you’ll see how we would work with you to ensure you reach your goals.
This process is the perfect way to figure out whether you should do small group training or one to one training, for how often, and for how long. After the hour long appointment, you’ll have everything you’ll need to help you decide how to move forward with your fitness goals. And we’ll have essential information to know whether you’re ready for coaching, and where to start with your plan.
Our practice is quite busy, so we have limited time available for these consultations. Fill out the form below or click here for more information. Once we hear from you, we’ll reach out to assure that you are a good fit to get started with a consultation and that we have availability.
