Spectrum, I would not be on my bike or in my kayak this summer. I just made plans to hike & bike in Acadia National Park this fall and to hike in the snow New Year’s weekend. Although my ankle still gives me a bit of problem, I feel happy to be active again and I do not let it stop me from doing things.
It would be shameful of me to pass an opportunity to tell you about your staff. They are the best!
Michelle is an inspiration. She spent the time to talk to me about so many issues that I thought were affecting my well-being. She took the time to know me and my abilities and interests. Her advice on nutrition helped me to change my eating style for the better. My weight is the same as when I left Spectrum at the beginning of July, so I am stepping up the “tracking” once again to keep myself in line.
My family has noticed a difference in my choices and I still don’t participate in Vince’s “famous late night snacks” anymore. I want to lose another 10-15 lbs. and I feel I can do it using the information Michelle provided.
Rob always helped as he was in the gym at the same time and gave me pointers and encouragement even though I was not his client. Tom was great in explaining the “how” and “why” of every movement. I learned a great deal from him. I like to dig deep into how the muscles work and why I need to do a particular exercise in a certain way —-he is a patient man!
I just cannot say enough about everyone there! Your staff is the best and obviously you have chosen them for a reason. After I broke my ankle, I felt depressed and believed that most of my activities were in the past – I felt old and really crummy. Now, I can once again enjoy 95% of the things I did before. I owe that to Spectrum – I really and truly believe in Spectrum.”
