Spectrum Fitness stands alone in really listening to their clients concerns/goals and develops programs inclusive of this information. They actively seek feedback from their clients and tweak the programs accordingly as well as for the natural progression of goals. They are passionate about their work. Personally, past injuries and the overall aging process challenged me to seek help in devising a workout program to accommodate these physical changes.
The loss of strength was keeping me from participating in a sport I love and presenting daily challenges. Spectrum. What was different? They listened, the programs are individualized in a small group training session, the staff is always encouraging, tweaking and making sure you have the correct form to prevent any injuries while strengthening. Cardio is also a part of the program. In a very short time I could see and feel progress and if not for Covid-19, I have no doubt I would be participating in my sport once again.
Enter Covid-19, our world is upside down, you knew things were going to have to change but never to the extreme we all face, yet all necessary changes. In the short week when changes were just starting to happen, Kacey talked with me about equipment I had at home and showed me equipment to research to add to my home. I want to work out at a gym, not my home, however, I listened, researched and purchased the equipment. One more workout session and everything shut down. First was the shock of being told to Stay at Home and then the concern I would lose all that I gained at Spectrum and lastly the realization that Kacey had helped prepare me for this.
I had some equipment, Spectrum was reaching out to their clients to train virtually, adjusting programs to accommodate equipment you had, keeping in touch on a weekly basis. I amaze myself that I’m working out at home, I won’t lose the gains I’ve made. Questions I have are being answered, challenges addressed. There are Zoom Get Together’s and Questions & Answer sessions as well as timely health/exercise research information sent via email. All of this is because of the caring, talented staff and owner of Spectrum. They have made the virtual environment as special as their studio is.
